Requirements
Incentives for Rental Properties Serving Income-Qualified Tenants 30% of the total project costs will be covered by a grant that doesn't need to be repaid.
The remaining 70% of the project costs will be covered by a 0% interest, 7-year loan, which doesn't require a credit check.
The total household income for all tenants in a unit must not exceed 80% of the Area Median Income (see table below).Property should have electric heat as the main heating source. The TPU account must be in the tenant's name.

The rebate for low-rise properties with three stories or less is $0.80/square foot for insulation installed in the floor, attic, and walls.

Requirements
To qualify for rebates your main heat source must be electric and or heat pump. Gas or propane heat systems are not eligible.
The incentives depend on the additional insulation added to the existing R Value of the ceiling and/or floor. They start at 6 cents a square foot of insulation installed up to $2 a square foot of insulation installed. A BPA qualified contractor must be used from the list provided below.
