REQUIREMENTS:

Replace and scrap existing and operational freestanding wood-burning or pellet-burning stoves, fireplace inserts, or open-hearth fireplaces.

Must apply for Clean HEET program and receive Notice to Proceed from Bay Area Air District before starting any work. This program does not provide reimbursements for projects already started.

Funding is limited. While all eligible applicants are encouraged to apply, projects in West Oakland, East Oakland, Richmond-San Pablo, and Bayview-Hunters Point/Southeast San Francisco communities will be prioritized.

Rebate can be layered as long as other rebates do not take emissions reductions credits.
