Save $400 - $700 per unit – Rebate on Heat Pump Water Heater

REQUIREMENTS:

Requirements:

• Must be a 45–80-gallon Heat Pump Water Heater (HPWH). Minimum UEF 3.30. Must be replacing a NATURAL GAS storage water heater (fuel substitution). Rebate amount subject to type and size of water heater being replaced.
  • $700 rebate:  240V HPWH >75-gallon HPWH, with minimum UEF of 3.30. Must be replacing a 50-to-75-gallon NATURAL GAS storage tank water heater.
  • $700 rebate: 240V HPWH >55 to ≤ 75-gallon HPWH, with minimum UEF of 3.30. Must be replacing a 40- or 50-gallon NATURAL GAS storage tank water heater.
  • $600 rebate: 240V HPWH ≥45 to ≤-55-gallon HPWH with minimum UEF of 3.30. Must be replacing a 30- or 40-gallon NATURAL GAS storage tank water heater.
  • $500 rebate: 40-80- gallon 120v HPWH with minimum UEF of 3.0. Must be replacing a 40-75 gallon NATURAL GAS storage tank water heater.
  • $400 rebate: 40-gallon 240V HPWH with minimum UEF of 3.30. Must be replacing a 40-gallon NATURAL GAS storage tank water heater.
• Heat pump water heater must be on the Qualified Products list at the time of purchase. Other restrictions apply.
• See a participating distributor to purchase your HPWH and process your residential project data. The distributor files on your behalf.
• Rebate is issued as a retail coupon to use at checkout in-store or online through a participating retailer.
• Customers may reside in a single-family, multifamily, manufactured or mobile home. Must be an electric customer of SDG&E, SCE, or PG&E.
