NoREQUIREMENTS:
The property must be located in the incorporated city of Pinole.
The applicant must submit the Rebate Reservation Form and receive a confirmation email before completing the project and submitting the Completed Project Form. The project must be installed by a TECH certified contractor.
Efficiency and Equipment Performance Requirements: ≥17 SEER and ≥9.4 HSPF or ≥16 SEER2 and ≥9.0 HSPF2. Heat pump must replace an existing natural gas appliance.
The Completed Project Form requires a finaled building permit, AHRI (Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute) Certificate and Number, photo of capped gas line, date- and time-stamped photos of completed work, and itemized invoice from contractor.

Project cannot have any active City of Pinole code enforcement violations. Project must be compliant with the City of Pinole’s Sanitary Sewer Lateral Ordinance and Rental Inspection Program (rental units only). Prospective applicants who have a code enforcement violation or are not in compliance with the Sanitary Sewer Lateral Ordinance may submit an application so long as they can prove they are making a good faith effort to come into compliance.
