Efficiency and Equipment Performance Requirements: Unified Energy Factor (UEF) ≥ 3.30 (all tank sizes). Requires finaled building permit. Requires AHRI (Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute) Certificate and Number. Requires photo of capped gas line. Requires before and after photo submission of completed work with date and time stamp. Requires itemized invoice from contractor. Project must be installed by TECH certified contractor. Project cannot have any active City of Pinole code enforcement violations. Project must be compliant with the City of Pinole’s Sanitary Sewer Lateral Ordinance and Rental Inspection Program (rental units only). Prospective applicants who have a code enforcement violation or are not in compliance with the Sanitary Sewer Lateral Ordinance may submit an application so long as they can prove they are making a good faith effort to come into compliance.
