Requirements
- Participants must be an active SBCE customer and own their own home.
- Project sites must be an existing 1 or 2-unit (duplex) residential building (including individual townhomes, accessory dwelling units, and mobile/manufactured homes) served by SBCE.
- Project must be permitted and comply with local and State building codes and provide verification of installation/completion and decommissioning of gas equipment.
- Associated Electrical Work must support the installation of HPWH and be applied for at same time as HPWH rebate.
- Associated Electrical Work may include any electrical materials and labor that occur in anticipation of or during installation of HPWH.
- For income qualified rebates, applicants must show either CARE/FERA enrollment or proof of qualifying income
