REQUIREMENTS:
Go Electric Bonus: must be combined with a project converting a gas water heater or gas space heating to heat pump. Upgrade panel ≤200 amps. Must include future circuits for EV (max 40 amp), cooking, dryer and induction range or oven/cooktop.
Must use a participating contractor in the SMUD Contractor Network (SMUDContractorNetwork.org)

The Go Electric Bonus requirements include the following:
1. Must be used in combination with one or both of the following upgrade - Heat Pump Conversion (Gas-to-Electric) or Heat Pump Water Heater Conversion (Gas-to-Electric).
2. Must be adding new circuits to an existing panel that terminate at the endpoint of use to make the home 100% electric ready (all circuits must be present to receive any rebate )
3. Add a new sub-panel if more panel space is needed to electrify the home
