REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Must be a TECH-enrolled contractor
  2. Project must be a non-heat pump to heat pump installation
  3. No new construction, retrofits only.
  4. Equipment Requirements
    • Air-to-Water Heat Pumps for space conditioning only or combi-systems for space and water heating conditioning
    • For HVAC: Air to Water Heat Pump must be listed on AHRI. Heat pump manufacturer must provide written approval for system to be paired with indoor unit/heat emitter.
    • For Combination Systems: HVAC requirement, plus same requirements as HPWH unitary requirements


Incentive Amounts:

  • $3,500 (HVAC Only) or $9,500 (HVAC+DHW)
