REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Must work with a TECH-enrolled contractor.
  2. Project must be a non-heat pump to heat pump installation.
  3. No new construction, retrofits only.
  4. Equipment must follow these rules, meaning it's on this Qualifying Products List:
    • An air source heat pump that has a refrigerant to water, or water/glycol, heat exchange.
    • Able to provide space heating (and potentially also space cooling and domestic hot water).
    • Capable of achieving a heating coefficient of performance of 1.7 or greater at full load capacity at a dry bulb outdoor temperature of 5°F and a leaving water temperature of at least 110°F.
  5. Customer must enroll in demand response.

Incentives

  • $3,500 with opportunities for $1,500 in additional incentives for equipment that has a low global warming potential (150 or lower). A maximum of two incentives per household.
