EV Instant Rebates

The Washington State Department of Commerce’s EV Instant Rebates Program is now open. The program will be funded through June 2025 (or until all funds are used) and provide between 6,500 and 8,000 rebates. It focuses on supporting low-income residents and offer $2,500 to $9,000 off at the time of purchase or lease. Variable Speed Air Source Heat Pump Conversions:
Homes (site built or manufactured homes) with ducted electric forced air furnaces - the incentive is $1,200.

LOW-INCOME CUSTOMER PROGRAMS

Customers must be Low-Income qualified by the utility or a local government agency to utilize these programs.

Site built homes, manufactured homes and multifamily buildings are eligible for additional ceiling and floor insulation installed by a licensed and bonded contractor that increases the R Value for the living space.

The incentive is $140 if purchased from a retail store and installed by the end user and $165 if installed by a contractor.
Qualifying Thermostats must be listed on BPA’s Advance Smart Thermostat qualified list.

Energize Olympia is available to City of Olympia residents. Stackable $800 rebate for first 50 market-rate Energize Olympia participants

$500 Mitsubishi Rebate

Available to all Eastside residents who purchase a Mitsubishi heat pump from a contractor on our installer list.

This rebate is available to homeowners who live within the city limits of Bellevue, Issaquah, Kirkland, Redmond, Mercer Island and Sammamish and are switching from a fossil fuel burning heat source to an electric heat pump.

Total household income must be at or below 150% area median income. This rebate may only be applied to Mitsubishi products.

LIHEAP is a federally funded program, that can offer a one-time payment to help you:​​​

• Pay your heating or cooling bills, even if you use wood, propane, or oil.
• In an emergency or energy crisis, such as a utility disconnection.

In addition to help with paying ​​your energy bill, LIHEAP can also provide in-home weatherization services for:

• Improved energy efficiency, and
• Health and safety.​​

$100 rebate for one smart thermostat per household with a qualifying heating system.

A ductless system consists of an outside unit, one or more inside "heads" that serve zones, and a remote control.

Homes with forced air-electric furnaces, electric baseboard, wall heaters or ceiling cable - Incentive $800.

Installations must meet all program requirements listed below:

• HSPF2 7.5 or greater rating
• SEER2 14.3 or greater rating
• AHRI Certificate of Product rating
• Contractor invoice showing installed make and models numbers installed and existing heat source before installation.
