Requirements
Up to $500 to upgrade your electrical panel, if required for new heat pump equipment.
$500 Electric Panel upgrade up to 100A, if required for new heat pump equipment. OR
$250 Electric Subpanel upgrade or Electric Panel upgrade up to 200A, if required for new heat pump equipment.Rebate is only applicable to Redwood City Homeowners.
Additional $500 for customers enrolled in CARE1/FERA2/WSRAP3 income‐qualified utility bill discount programs.

San Jose Clean Energy residential customers can install a new heat pump HVAC and heat pump water heater and receive up to $4,500 in rebates! Some customers may qualify for an additional $2,000 rebate.
San Jose Clean Energy residential customers can also receive up to $5,500 in rebates for add-on clean energy projects such as electric panel upgrades, attic insulation, and prewiring.Who Can Apply
